I went to see Thomas after I was referred to him by my friend. Since 2011 I have always suffered with hamstring injuries throughout the footballing season. My latest injury was at the start of September and I missed a whole month of football which was very frustrated as the football season had just started and I missed a few key games.
Thomas assessed me in the first meeting, he wanted to know everything about my previous injuries as well as the latest injury I was facing. During the first session he was able to identify my problems and put a programme in place which would help me recover quicker and get me playing football again.
I only needed two sessions with Thomas and I was back playing football again within two weeks and so far I have no problems with my hamstring. I was even able to complete a whole month of football, playing up to three times a week which I thought was impossible.
During my sessions I learnt about mindset, muscle conditioning and new stretches that have all help me with my recovery. Thomas is very friendly, we would have good conversations about my interests and he would always have something interesting to talk about which helped our sessions flow really nicely without any awkwardness.
I would highly recommend Thomas and I will be using him again if I have any problems. Thomas Bell is a fantastic Sport Therapist!
